Harkiran K. Grewal, M.D.
Harkiran K. Grewal studied medicine at Dayanand Medical College in Punjab, India. She completed her internship and residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, NY. She then went on to a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC. She later joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine before returning to California in 2019. She is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
Emily Alexiadis, Nurse Practitioner
Emily Alexiadis began as a Registered Nurse in 2004, spending most of her nursing career as a critical care nurse in the intensive care units of Glendale Adventist Medical Center and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Public Health Nurse Certification from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) in 2010. In 2017 she then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and became a dual board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) and Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AG-CNS).
Emily is an active member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), and the American Nursing Association (ANA). When not at work, Emily enjoys travelling, gardening, and taking her two large dogs for long hikes.
Christine Grimaldo, Office Manager
Christine is a highly experienced Medical Office Manager and long-time valley resident. She began her career in healthcare as a medical receptionist and gained experience in all aspects of the administrative side of healthcare, from billing and coding to clinical protocols. She came to work for CIDC in 2017 and her extensive experience has prepared her to handle the challenges of Infectious Disease. Her knowledge and understanding of insurance coordination and benefits allows her the ability to assist our patients in navigating the healthcare system. She is committed to providing the highest level of service to patients and staff alike.
Christine is an avid Saints fan. When she is not at work she enjoys traveling, softball and time with her family.
Annette Martinez, Medical Assistant
Annette is a dedicated and compassionate medical assistant with four years of hands-on experience in the healthcare field. Proficient in both administrative tasks and clinical duties, Annette has demonstrated exceptional skills in patient care, and electronic health record management. Her commitment to providing quality care and her strong attention to detail make her an invaluable asset to CIDC. Annette’s passion for helping others drives her to continuously improve her skills and stay updated in the medical field.
